Your hotel in Las Vegas
There are four options for your Grand Canyon Overnight Bus Tour From Las Vegas: single room, double room, triple room or quad room. Apart from variations in the room occupancy these options are all the same.
Day 1: Las Vegas – South Rim Grand Canyon
At the start of your Grand Canyon adventure, you will be picked up early from your hotel in a luxury coach by your driver/guide and will head out towards the Hoover Dam.
Drive over the Hoover Dam by-pass bridge over the mighty Colorado River and past sparkling Lake Mead
As you travel on towards the Grand Canyon your driver will entertain you with an informative narrative about things of interest you see. Keep an eye open for wildlife such as big-horn sheep, feral burros or mustangs, jack-rabbits, eagles, or road-runners. Also look for signs of former mining activity in the rocky desert landscape.
There will be one refreshment stop (payable direct) and then you will break for 1 hour for lunch in Williams, Arizona, on the famous Route 66 and home of the Grand Canyon Railway. The buffet meal will include chicken, beef, vegetables, salad bar and ice cream. At this stop, you will have the chance to learn a bit about the Grand Canyon Railway, which made its first journey to the South Rim in 1901, long before Arizona was dubbed the ‘Grand Canyon State’. With the arrival of the train, people could get to the legendary Canyon with ease and comfort.
After lunch, you will proceed to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and arrive there in the early afternoon (around 2:00pm).
As an introduction to the Grand Canyon, you will enjoy a National Park South Rim Tour in your luxury coach. This will take you to Mather Point, which has an extensive viewing area overlooking the Canyon.
You will also stop at a Visitor Center, where you can learn more about the National Park, and at Yavapai Point. The latter provides one of the best panoramas on this part of the South Rim as it is the most northerly viewpoint and the closest to the Colorado River, allowing for unobstructed views up and down the gorge.
You will visit Bright Angel Lodge, a natural rustic building designed by famed architect Mary Elizabeth Jane Colter in the 1930s and a center for South Rim activities.
At about 4:00pm, you will be dropped off at your accommodation at a historic National Park Lodge. You then have time to enjoy the Grand Canyon in your own way. You could set off on a hike, photograph the gorge at sunset, take a helicopter flight (not included in this tour) or kick back in the Lodge by the fireplace and listen to stories provided by a park ranger.
Dinner is payable direct and there are various options available. You could choose to eat at your Lodge, or splash out and go to the grand El Tovar hotel.
You will spend the night at Yavapai Lodge, surrounded by pinyon and juniper woodlands, about half a mile from the South Rim. The Lodge is unstarred accommodation but it has modern air-conditioned rooms, all of which are non-smoking and have TV and a telephone. Most rooms have queen beds and your chosen option for this tour will determine how many people will be in your room. All rooms have en suite bathrooms. There is no bar at the Lodge but you will find one at El Tovar hotel.
Day 2: South Rim Grand Canyon to Las Vegas
Breakfast (payable direct) is available at the Canyon Café at Yavapai Lodge. After breakfast, you have free time until 3:30pm, so you can make the most of the many activities available in the Park.
You will have time to walk the nature trails, view the Native American art and handicrafts, visit the displays, museums or gift shops. It’s your call. But don’t attempt to walk down to the river. It is too far to go in one day.
At 3:30pm, you meet your coach at Bright Angel Lodge and begin the return journey to Las Vegas. There will be a refreshment stop (payable direct) and after sunset a feature film will be shown in your de luxe coach.
You will arrive back in Las Vegas at approximately 9:45pm and will be dropped back at your hotel.
Your exact pick up time and location will be provided by email but please call the activity operator at least 24 hours prior to start of the tour for reconfirming departure details
If you are not picked up within 5 minutes of your scheduled pick time, please call the activity operator.
Fuel surcharge of US$9 will be collected at the time of departure
Customer can only carry carryon bag with them and 1 bag per person
No longer stops at the Hoover Dam for photo stop.

The provided lodge was not as promise during booking and it was inconvenience to walk around with wheelchair.
Both Coach drivers Jimmy and Tommy were excellent and great characters. Made trip very enjoyable.
On the down side the office check in is a disaster time management and off putting. Suggest a complete system revamp.
The accomodation was excellent but no one at canyon makes a proper cup of coffee . Invest in barista training.
Information in the park doesn't exist and distances not clearly shown.
Good accommodation plenty of time to enjoy the canyon Informative coach drivers
