Take a wild adventure at the Grand Canyon´s West Rim! As you head over to this marvelous location, relax in a luxurious Mercedes Sprinter, complete with television, reclining seats, footrests, and even large windows so you don’t miss any of the Nevada desert’s scenic beauty.
The tour begins with a stop at the Hoover Dam, an engineering wonder and tourist hot-spot. Here, you will enjoy some free time to take pictures of the dam, the landscape, and the spectacular O'Callaghan-Tillman Bridge, a masterpiece of engineering.
As you meander through Joshua Tree National Park on your way to the west side of the Grand Canyon, you’ll hear exciting and interesting explanations from your knowledgable guide/driver. Once there, you will first visit The Hualapai Reservation, where you will have the opportunity take some more photos.
Appreciate the ancient geological formations of the Grand Canyon from Guano Point and take in the intoxicating sights and sounds of this unique environment. If you are lucky, you can meet with the Hualapai at this spectacular vantage point and see a traditional dance (subject to availability).
Next, visit Eagle Point, another popular area of interest that has been forming for millions of years. Enjoy breath-taking views of the Grand Canyon before experiencing the world-famous Skywalk (additional fees apply), a glass walkway stretching out over the edge of the West Rim 1,300 meters above the Colorado River. In the newly opened Skywalk Café, you can enjoy a scrumptious lunch while contemplating this natural wonder.
Finally, you will visit the Hualapai Ranch and attend a Wild West show (subject to availability). And, while you are here, you can learn about the history and geology of the Grand Canyon through your gracious hosts: The Hualapai Native Americans.
